Dear Friend of the Canal Festival,
The Coshocton Towne Centre has begun planning for the 44th Annual Coshocton Canal Festival to be held this year on August 7, 8, 9, & 10. Our committee has been planning for several months now to build on the new excitement in the community that began with the Bicentennial Canal Festival Celebration in 2011 in which more vendors, displays and children’s activities were brought back to the festival. Local talents will also be used for the weekend as well as the annual concert on the square following the Grande Parade. The Coshocton Canal Quilters will be holding their annual Quilt show entitled “Celebration of Scraps” during the festival this year at the Presbyterian Church on 4th Street.
We would like to invite you to join our excitement and consider sponsoring this annual event. With your sponsorship we will be able to increase the activities offered, fund continuing programs such as our Queen and Princess competitions, and increase advertising. The Grand Parade is also part of the Towne Centre planning and requires funding for entries and awards.
Annual events such as this are important in maintaining a strong community that supports each other and enjoys spending time together celebrating our past. If you choose to become a sponsor your name or company name will be displayed on a banner at the Main Stage the week before the festival as well as during the festival. Your information will also be on all programs and the Towne Centre website. Sponsorships are as follows:
We sincerely hope you will consider supporting this important community event. Please complete the enclosed form and return it with your tax deductible donation so we may send you a receipt. If you wish
